The exhibition

A person seen from behind. Pink knit sweater, cap, a scarf at the neck, a Brussels street blurring beyond. The photograph hangs by two chains in the middle of a deep blue window, under one white tube light.

You meet the subject the way you meet most people on the pavement: by their back. No face to read, only posture, colour and the street they are walking into.
